The aim is to develop innovative solutions that make a measurable contribution to climate protection (ecological), are economically viable and resource-efficient in the long term (economic) and at the same time strengthen quality of life, inclusion and acceptance within society (social).

Automated public transport systems can make a significant contribution to social sustainability by improving mobility for all population groups, removing barriers, increasing road safety and enabling new forms of participation and employment. This holistic approach ensures that the results of ROBERTA not only generate short-term innovations, but also create lasting added value for the environment, the economy and society.
